چکیده :
Camelina (Camelina sativa L.) is a common oilseed plant in Asia and Europe, belonging to the Brassicaceae family, about which little is known, particularly in Iran. It has been proposed as a viable option for diversifying traditional Mediterranean cropping systems, thus holding significant importance. In the present study, the effect of foliar application of macro-elements (N-P-K) and micronutrients (Zn-Mn-Fe) in both nano and conventional forms at five levels (control, conventional macro-elements, nano macro-elements, conventional macro-elements + conventional micro-nutrients, nano macro-elements + nano micro-nutrients) and type of application at two levels (magnetic and conventional) was evaluated on camelina under rain-fed conditions in West Azerbaijan province, Iran. For this purpose, a factorial experiment based on a randomized complete block design (RCBD) with three replications was used. The results of the analysis of variance (ANOVA) indicated that the studied factors and their interactions significantly influenced multiple quantitative and qualitative traits of camelina. These traits included plant height, the number of secondary branches, the number of siliques, fresh and dry leaf weight, silique weight, the number of seeds per silique, thousand-seed weight, seed yield, oil content, oil yield, and harvest index. Overall, foliar application of macro and nano micronutrients enhanced drought stress tolerance in camelina plants, and magnetic treatment improved micronutrient uptake efficiency compared to conventional methods. The improvement of the traits was influenced more profoundly by macro-elements than by microelements. Our findings can be utilized to develop an optimal fertilizer regimen to mitigate the adverse effects of drought in camelina cultivation, reduce chemical fertilizer application, and enhance both seed and oil yield.
